The UNC Department of Neurology’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee invites students and anyone considering a career change (especially underrepresented groups) to consider pursuing medical careers with a neurological focus. This virtual event will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 6pm to 7pm.
The event will feature experts from a wide variety of neurological careers including sleep and other neurodiagnostic technicians, clinic and intensive care nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, neurologists, basic science and clinical researchers, and clinic administrators. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
The UNC Department of Neurology provides expert consultation and specialty care for both adults and children through our many clinics and centers. Our interdisciplinary teams include more than 50 neurologists who have comprehensive knowledge across a wide range of subspecialties. The group also actively pursues many clinical trials, striving to develop and implement new treatments for neurological disorders.
